Behaviour

We pride ourselves on our children’s excellent behaviour, which is achieved by following our school behaviour policy. Our children regularly receive compliments about their behaviour, both from visitors in school and members of the public during outside educational visits. Comments can be read in our visitors’ book which is found in the school reception entrance.

We believe that good behaviour comes from having good relationships. We use a huge range of positive behaviour management techniques and in times when children make the wrong choice, we use a restorative approach to teach children to make better choices next time around.

We like to celebrate children's resilience, respect and responsible relationships in lots of ways, however, our main reward system uses Class Dojo. The children work hard to achieve 'Dojo' points during the year and ultimately achieve their bronze, silver and gold awards.
