The Orchard - Blossom
Welcome to Blossom Class. 
Our class teachers are Mrs Mills and Miss Jafrato, who are supported by Mrs Vora, Mrs Maidman and Ms Graur.
Blossom Class are a sensory based class and we learn mostly through play.
Sensory circuits are really important to Blossom Class so we do them twice a day to help our physical development, improve alertness and help to manage our sensory processing. We also do a variety of sensory and attention activities, Lego Therapy and social interaction.
Attention Autism is also a huge part of Blossom Class as it helps to develop join attention and to improve language skills. This engaging activity takes place every afternoon.
Life skills we focus on in Blossom Class are cooking, self-care, regulation strategies and emotional regulation. We also keep active every day by doing Yoga and Go Danny activities.
Physical Education (PE)
Our PE day is every Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon.
Homework
Homework will be set every Friday ,to be returned on Tuesday.
Reading and Reading Records
We expect your child to read or for you to read to your child as much as possible. Reading is such an important part of your child's development so please prioritise this task.
Our Class Rewards
We have many rewards in Blossom Class, which consist of:
Play in the sensory room, choice of toys and much more! The children need to achieve two smiley faces on any four of Blossom Class values to have a choice of reward.
