English Week 2020
This year the whole school studied the story 'The Day the Crayons Quit' by Drew Daywalt. Each year group took on a different crayon and after spending the week completing activities around that colour, we had a parade on World Book Day with placards, each year group trying to persuade the parents that their colour was the best! We also held a 'Drop and Read' sponsored event with proceeds going towards our Library Bus fund, with everyone (including staff) having to drop everything and read for 3 minutes every time they heard the bell. This week we also held our annual Spelling Bee competitions for Years 1-6 and as always, they were very close contests! Huge congratulations to all of our winners.
