Homework is set on a weekly basis. For individual year group expectations, please open our homework policy which can be found under School Policies on the 'Key Documents' page of the 'Key Info' section of this website. We also provide a homework club on a Thursday after school for children to use if parents wish. Homework is given out on a Thursday for a return by Wednesday of the following week.

I Am PROUD at Poverest

We are launching a whole school initiative in 2026, called I Am PROUD at Poverest. 

Our PROUD award is a whole school, home learning award which focuses on life skills for each of our PROUD values. These are:

Polite

Respectful

Open Minded

United

Determined

Each year group have their own PROUD values to work on throughout the whole year and these have been thoughtfully created to match their age. We encourage you to take your time with each of these life skills as they are to be mastered and learnt thoroughly. Once your child has completed a skill, you need to send evidence of this to your Class Teacher or Class Teaching Assistant using Class Dojo. They will give you a stamp next to the value completed so your child can see their progress. Once your child has completed each PROUD value, they will receive a PROUD certificate in our celebration assembly in Summer Term 2.
