Welcome to our ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) Provision at Poverest. We currently have two thriving classes who enjoy having the experiences of working in a small nurturing classroom environment as well as accessing inclusion within the mainstream school, as it suits their individual needs.  We have a  sensory room and calming area, which the children have access to,  to assist their individual needs during the school day. We work hard to improve their social and communication skills, to relate appropriately to their mainstream peers and vice-versa enabling all to feel comfortable in their surroundings.
As a whole Provision, we enjoy joint activities and trips,  sharing and celebrating with each other and the mainstream school.
